Vanlife Cookbook!

Thank you for downloading the Vanlife Cookbook; we hope the recipes that follow provide inspiration for new meals, wherever you are!

This book came to be thanks to everyone that shared their favorite recipe(s)! We hope you’re as excited as we are to try these. This book is precisely what we would have liked to have for our trip, reflecting the spirit of vanlife cooking – requiring only a 2-burner stove, limited ingredients that are widely available, and 30 minutes or less to prepare. And of course, involving little cleanup!

Also, a huge thanks to Jonas for his incredible and creative illustration for the cover; we think he captured the essence of this book perfectly. We are huge fans of his work and are thrilled to have him be part of this project. You can take a look at more of his work here – we highly recommend it.

Enjoy and Eat up!

  2. Thank you for sharing this! I downloaded it and included a link in an email we send to friends, family, and van-life enthusiasts. This is an awesome resource. Important to eat healthy on the road; it’s so easy to eat junk.

  4. Hello!
My girlfriend and I both have been following your travels in preparation for our own van adventure starting in April 2016.
We would seriously look at buying your Sprinter Van if you are considering selling close to that time. You can contact me on beingarizona@gmail.com if that’s the case xx
    Cheers and happy travels,
    Lib (and Anna)

    • Hi Libby,

We’re in the process of deciding IF we do in fact want to sell it. 🙂 We’ve fallen in love with it so it will be really hard to let her go. Anyway, stay tuned for more details and if you’re still interested shoot us an email! We’d likely be selling over the next few months. Look forward to following your adventures!

  5. Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to compile, photograph, and publish this really extensive offering. We have a BioLite Campstove set-up as well as the newer BaseCamp version — although we ironically bought a house in the Alps not too long after the BaseCamp kickstarter project shipped. The great thing is that we still are loving the BioLites and have a nice big covered terrace where we can cook in the open while still feeling snug and cosy — we even did a big cheese fondue one night and had a blast.

Love these ideas for cooking with cast iron and making the most out of these fun stoves. Thanks again 🙂
