Starting to really come together

While things still take us longer than expected, we’ve made a lot of progress over the last week. The drawers under the bed, the storage cabinets next to the bed and part of the kitchen have all been finished up.

We decided to use buy a pocket jig kit (Amazon), and have used it extensively.  Definitely worth the investment – without it, we wouldn’t have been able to make such clean attachments.

We’re exactly 2 weeks away from our expected ETD and still have plenty of work ahead of us. We have to finish the kitchen, flooring, wood paneling, electrical, lights, plumbing for our sink, replace the shocks and some other mechanical tune ups. We’re also trying to get a hold of swivel seats for the front seats but unfortunately, they’re out of stock currently so we may need to wait to install those from the road.

Below are pictures of the van with the new updates, but if you have any questions on how we put anything together, please don’t hesitate to ask!

We also started an instagram account (Sprintervandiaries) – take a look if you have some time! And thank you to all those already following us!

More details to come.
